Position Summary:

Primary Functions:

  • Maintains communication with service technicians
  • Manages technician performance and uniform program
  • Inspects and inventories technicians' personal tools and tool purchase program
  • Works with customers for repairs and maintenance 
  • Ensures all safety documentation is current and adhering to safety policies and procedures
  • Plans for the development of staff by organizing training sessions and motivates staff
  • Develops call tracking and overtime reports through Whiteout and ExponentHR
  • Manages labor hours for accuracy and biweekly payroll approval
  • Performs annual performance reviews with field staff
  • Conducts periodic truck inventory reviews and inspections
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned

Requirements

  • Able to travel

Education & Experience

  • Associates degree (or higher) in the HVACR or foodservice repair industry or an equivalent combination of education and experience as a Service Technician in the HVACR service operations or foodservice repair industry
  • 5+ years' experience in a Service Technician role in the HVACR or commercial foodservice repair industry with increasing responsibilities
  • Proven experience in dispatch systems and in-depth knowledge of service software
  • Excellent knowledge of computers, data entry, and MS Office (Word, Excel, & Outlook)
