Primary Functions:

  • Performs inspections on ice machinery, refrigeration, restaurant, bar equipment, and/or other equipment as needed.
  • Performs repairs on ice machinery, refrigeration, restaurant, bar equipment, and/or other equipment as needed.
  • Manages the shop production
  • Does minor building and warehouse repairs
  • Maintain a clean and organized shop area
  • Manage inventory with minimum variances
  • Insure that every repair have complete and accurate work orders completed
  • Manage a shop helper and ensure he is being developed for the future
  • Provide technical phone support to in house technicians as well as outside technicians

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in diagnosis and repair on most brands of ice makers, reach in coolers and freezers
  • Experience on any other equipment including beverage or hot side a plus
  • Ability to lift at least 50lbs and move heavy objects
  • Functional knowledge of computers and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access) 
  • Ability to multi-task and help in other jobs as needed
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • EPA certification - universal
  • Excellent customer service skills
